Infrastructure security is the discipline of protecting the systems that make validation possible: hosts, networks, signing paths, access controls, monitoring, backups, and recovery procedures.

• Separation between validator duties and public endpoint workloads

Why it matters for validators

Validator reliability is not only a chain software question. If the underlying infrastructure is weak, the validator inherits that weakness through missed blocks, unsafe access paths, rushed upgrades, or poor incident response. Security has to be designed into the operating model before delegation is requested.
