The property that block data has been published and can be accessed by participants who need to verify the state of a blockchain system.

Delegation

The act of assigning stake to a validator, giving that operator economic weight in network security and governance.

The discipline of securing the foundational layer — servers, networks, firewalls, backups, access control, and monitoring — so higher layers can run safely.

An operator that participates in proof-of-stake consensus, helps secure the network, and carries operational responsibility for signing, upgrades, monitoring, and governance.
